Member’s Auction

Monthly Auction where you can sell your fish that you no longer have room for, or that you have successfully bred yourself as well as buy fish from other members at a tremendous discount to the store prices for the same fish. Auctions also include supplies such as lights, filters, aquariums, plants and just about anything you can imagine that supports the aquatic enthusiast.

Fish Food Sales

Each month there is a booth set up that will offer some of the finest flake foods that are available today at a fraction of the price charged in stores.

Monthly F.I.S.H Talks

Some monthly meetings will include a F.I.S.H. (Friendly Informative Speaking Hour) Talk during which, a member or invited guest speaker will give an informative and helpful talk about the current trends in the Aquarium Industry or about some other related news or information that will help you keep up with current methods of breeding, raising and caring for your aquatic pets.

Annual Christmas Party

Every year, at the end of the year we have our annual Christmas Party and get together for all our members where we have food, drinks and a raffle to give back to our members the items that have been donated by our sponsors and items that were purchased for the raffle using any leftover moneys collected as dues and auction proceeds throughout the year. We pay for our meeting location each month and any extra money the club makes is channeled back to the members.

Raffles

There are also raffles where, for a one dollar donation, you will receive a ticket and be eligible to win fantastic products provided by  our sponsors. The drawings occur immediately at that same time so you don’t have to worry about missing the drawing.

If you are not yet a member, but are interested in becoming one, or just want to drop in and see what it’s all about, please join us on the second Thursday of each month at 1212 East Glendale Avenue, Phoenix, AZ at the church meeting room. Doors open at 6:45 pm, auction set up begins at 7:00 pm and the meeting starts at 7:30 pm. (Map of location)

With your annual $20.00 membership fee you are welcome to sell items or bid on items in the auction, if you are not yet a member you may participate one time as a non member for a 3.00 fee paid before the auction begins. To participate in any further auctions, you will need to pay the full membership fee and become a full member with all the benefits listed above.
